Guidelines for Book/Exhibition Review Presentation
The editor is now accepting suggestions for reviews to be published in forthcoming issues.

1. General information
Nineteenth-Century Art Worldwide does not accept unsolicited book or exhibition reviews, but the Review Editor will take suggestions into serious consideration. Publishers and/or authors are encouraged to send books and catalogues to the following address:
Gabriel P. Weisberg
Department of Art History
University of Minnesota
338 Heller Hall
University of Minnesota
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55455
USA
E-mail: gpweisberg[at]19thc-artworldwide.org

2. How and when to submit invited reviews
Once a review has been requested by the Editor, it should be submitted to him in two hard (paper) copies and on a diskette. Whenever possible, the diskette's format should be Microsoft Word. The review must not exceed 1,500 words in length. The deadline for acceptance is 2 months before the issue will appear (For September 2004 this will be June 15).

Book reviews should give full details including author, title, publisher, date of publication, ISBN number, number of photographs in color and black-and-white, and list price. Exhibition reviews should usually cover both the exhibition and its accompanying catalogue, and should list all bibliographic information of the catalogue, plus all venues of the exhibition's tour.

In all matters of style, please follow the Style Sheet provided here.
